1979 Ferrari 304 GTA Interview
The Accessible Luxury
Is it possible to have a luxurious sports car such as a Ferrari with an accessible price tag?
Of course, no ....
The 1979 Ferrari 308 GTA Dino has a fascinating story. The Dino was named after the son of Enzo Ferrari, the founder of the company. It was a mid-engine car, a design that was unique for a road car. The idea is, while a mid-engine design would work on the race track, it isnt exactly safe when transposed on the normal, everyday day. However, despite initial apprehension by Enzo, the car line proved to be a success.
The 1979 Ferrari 308 GTA Dino was the first V-8 Ferrari. All Ferraris prior to the 1979 Ferrari 308 GTA Dino had 12 cylinder engines, this makes the 1979 Ferrari 308 GTA Dino a standout since it displayed the Ferrari label even with the less than 12 cylinder engine status.
Of course, current owners such as Rolan wouldnt be able to appreciate these details. But during its time, the 1979 Ferrari 308 GTA Dino marked numerous changes in the Ferrari line.
