Gstaad Classic Rally
A Trademark Creation
The Alfa Romeo TZ1 is easily one of the more iconic Alfa Romeo classic car models to date, so much so that ....
the car manufacturing company created a TZ2 and a special one-off production, the TZ3, during the 100th year anniversary of the Alfa Romeo house.
Basically, these are already solid proofs that the TZ1 (or the Giulia TZ before the TZ2 was produced) is one of the more important cars the brand has made.
There are many reasons why this is so. First off is the amazing race track performance of this classic car. It did spectacularly well in some races such as the Targa Florio, the Nurburgring, and the Le Mans, among others.
And, of course, this wouldn’t be possible without the car’s amazing technical aspects. The car has a displacement of 1570 cc and a weight of 242.42 bhp per ton. It is considerably light considering the body of the car.
The TZ2 had an even lighter body and a sleeker design, while the TZ3 was an amazing work that really paid tribute to the achievements and the influence of the TZ1 to the Alfa Romeo house.
